Meridian Archery Club

Meridian Archery Club is a thriving, friendly club based near East Grinstead, West Sussex. It was founded in January 2001 with ten members. The name 'Meridian' was chosen after much deliberation. The Meridian line runs through East Grinstead where the club was founded, so this seemed the right choice.

The objective of the club is the 'practice, promotion, development and encouragement of archery and the maintenance of its traditions'.

We currently have approximately seventy members of mixed ages and abilities; shooting recurve, barebow, compound and longbow. Juniors from nine years of age are welcome.

Our members can compete at their own level - shooting to achieve personal goals, participating in Meridian club competitions or competing in external tournaments; they can be content shooting at club level, or can aspire to represent Sussex County at Regional Level, or Great Britain at International Level!

Meridian is affiliated to Sussex County Archery Association (SCAA), Southern Counties Archery Society (SCAS) and the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS)/Archery GB. Click on the logos below to visit their sites.
